Maileg FW25 Collection – How Our Maileg Preorders and Reservations Work
We’re practically squeaking with excitement about the upcoming launch of the Maileg AW25 Collection!
Ruby & Grace was the first UK store to offer online preview and preorder of the full Maileg collection back in 2020, and we’ve proudly offered this service every season since.
This beautiful new collection will be available to preview from 1st July 2025, with items arriving in waves across the second half of the year.
Why Preorder?
If you’re new to Maileg, you might be wondering why we share details of items before they’re in stock. These whimsical pieces are loved by adults and children alike and are often highly collectible. New launches can sell out before they even arrive.
We place a large order on the day of release so our customers get the best chance of securing their favourites. Preorders and reservations also help us plan stock levels more accurately.
After successfully running previous pre order campaigns, we are excited to be able to offer a number of options to customers, who are interested in ordering these items before they are in stock. We are committed to operating cautiously to protect our customers and avoid disappointment:
A Limited Pre-order Service:
We offer preorders on items that are already on a confirmed order from Maileg, and where shipping dates to Ruby & Grace HQ have been provided. We only accept preorders for the quantity we have confirmed. Once we reach that number, the item will show as sold out.
If you’d like peace of mind, simply place the items in your basket and check out as normal. Once your order is placed, there’s nothing more to do but wait for your goodies to arrive.
Preorders will open as soon as our stock is confirmed. If there’s something specific you’d like us to order, feel free to get in touch with your request.
Reservations:
If you’d prefer to reserve items rather than pay in full, we’re happy to offer our gift card reservation option. Simply purchase a non-refundable gift card (based on your order size), and we’ll reserve your items accordingly.
Orders up to the Value of £100 Secured with £20 gift Card
Orders up to the Value of £200 Secured with £40 gift Card
Orders up to the Value of £300 Secured with £50 gift Card
Orders up to the Value of £400 Secured with £60 gift Card
For orders over the value of £500 Secured with a £100 Gift Card
Gift cards can be redeemed against the purchase total once your reserved items are in stock. You’re welcome to buy gift cards in stages leading up to the launch — it’s a great way to spread the cost.
To reserve items:
1. Add your chosen items to your cart
2. At checkout, select ‘Reservation – payment due before shipping’
3. Complete a separate order for the gift card in the required amount
Notification & Stock Updates
If you’d prefer to wait until stock arrives, you’re welcome to sign up to our mailing list or follow us on Instagram and Facebook. You can also contact us with the items you’re hoping for, and we’ll do our best to keep you updated.
Estimated Delivery Dates:
I have added the estimated delivery dates for each item as given to me by Maileg. Please note that these dates tend to move around a fair bit, therefore I cannot guarantee delivery dates 100%.
Shipping:
If your order contains both in-stock and preorder items, we will usually wait to dispatch everything together. We may split shipments if release dates vary significantly, depending on what’s most cost-effective and convenient for you.
If you have specific timing needs — such as birthdays or special occasions — please contact us and we’ll try our best to accommodate them.
Cancellations:
We offer a 14-day cooling-off period for cancellations or changes to your preorder or reservation. After that, we ask that you commit to your selection where possible, as we order stock based on your request.
If something unexpected arises — for you or for us — we’ll always do our best to find a fair solution. If we’re unable to supply your items, a full refund or credit will be offered.
Unless otherwise agreed, gift card deposits used to reserve items are non-refundable after the 14-day period.
